Types of changes that may occur
A lump or area that feels raised or thicker than the rest of the breast
A change in the appearance of the skin that looks like an orange peel texture, puckering or dimpling
Liquid coming out of the nipple, with or without being squeezed
Redness or a rash around the nipple (areolar area)
A change in the appearance of the nipple such as being pulled in (inverted) or changed shape or position on the breast
Pain in the breast and/or the armpit that is present a majority of the time
A change in the size or shape of the breast
Swelling in the armpit or collarbone
